Modern Body Art

Modern Body Art has went above and beyond what I expected. First off My Tattoo artist Jeff is AWESOME, Down to earth, professional and great at his job. After waiting 20 years to get more Tat's I could not have found a more relaxing and friendlier environment. I did my research and tried a few places but the vibe was not there with the space or the different artist i came across. Jeff not only provided a great service but his recommendations were spot on and more in alignment with what I wanted to achieve. I also met some other Modern Body Art artist while getting work done, in particular Gabe and a few others. Their energy all seemed to match, which made the space and experience much more gratifying. I would recommend Jeff and the modern Body Art family to anyone, go feel it out for your self. You will know and understand what I mean!

I had the best experience with the piercer Gina. I’ve had my nose pierced several times in my life and either From hospitalization or Covid. I wasn’t able to keep The piercings. I have pretty severe anxiety, which I did not mention to Gina. So it seems her demeanor is always the same no matter who’s in her chair. And that was friendly reassuring and very kind. She went over the process thoroughly both before the process and during the process to make sure that I was comfortable, and when I thanked her for that and expressed that I had severe anxiety she was unaware. It’s just a habit for her to make her clients feel at ease. And I truly appreciate that. I also appreciate that she does not do a nostril piercing with a screw in ring. It’s a flat back nose ring that glide in with ease. The entire process was painless and very comfortable. I’ll be back from my next piercing with Gina and will happily drive the hour. It takes me to get there. On a sidenote, I did see someone getting tattooed while I was there as well, not by Gina. The man was very courteous The studio was very clean and you could tell he took great pride in his work. I’ll definitely be checking the spot out for my next piece.

Gina is a true gem!! I Had the best experience getting pierced. She was so fun to talk to and made the whole experience relaxing - I barely remembered getting the piercing!?! Not only is she fun but she is a true professional and lives up to her reputation. I will definitely be back.

I had my labret pierced here. Gina was very nice and knowledgeable. Be sure to bring 2 forms of ID (License, insurance card, etc). Had an issue with my labret rod being too short but went back next day and she put a new one free of charge. My cost was 70+tip.

My friend and I were in Albany for the day and wanted to get spontaneous tattoos, we were able to walk in and get an appointment with Lexi. We each had found a design on pinterest that we liked and Lexi didn’t mind doing them at all, and was even excited to tattoo them for us! Lexi was super nice and chill, we chatted the whole time and felt very comfortable with her. My tattoo (lady fairy) was $200 and my friend’s raccoon was $150. Would love to come again some day :)

I got a bar in my ear from Gina Carbone and she messed the entire piercing up , i got it looked at by an actual professional place because it kept getting infected and they said she pierced it wrong and that's why it wasn't healing right !!!!! Be careful who does your work that's the lesson I've learned !! NEVER GOING BACK
