I recently visited this shop for the first time, what a beautiful and clean space with exceptional service, from check in to checking out. Gene was my piercer. He thoroughly explained what to expect with my new piercing and how to care for my piercing after my appointment. I’m looking forward to this being a regular spot for me, with a beautiful and carefully curated array of jewelry to choose from down to the actual process being so clean and safe, I am so happy! As someone with physical disabilities, (mild) tourettes, and ASD, Althea has always given me a great tattoo experience. I have a difficult time finding understanding, patient, and supportive tattoo artists and Althea has been everything and more. Beyond her welcoming atmosphere, her art style, working speed, and tattoo quality is always impeccable! I get compliments on my pieces by her ALL the time 🥰

Maybe they're good in person but online is a pass. I forgot about them, but they just sent a marketing email. Placed an order 12/12/23 for an Xmas gift. Waited a month, nothing ever came. All emails to their support bounced back as undeliverable (copy and pasted the support email on the invoice), was never able to get a hold of them. Wrote it off as a loss. Definitely avoid online purchases.

I brought my 11-year-old daughter to Cold River Body Arts to have her ears re-pierced, and the experience was absolutely fantastic. She was originally pierced at Piercing Pagoda when she was 2, but unfortunately those piercings closed up due to complications from a bent earring. This time around, I wanted to make a more informed choice—and I’m so glad I did. Instead of going to a mall shop that uses a piercing gun, I chose a professional piercer, and we couldn’t be happier with that decision. Gene was amazing—so patient, thorough, and incredibly knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly, made my daughter feel completely at ease, and ensured everything was done with the utmost care and cleanliness. Her ears healed beautifully, and the overall experience was night and day compared to our first time. I can’t recommend Cold River Body Arts enough, especially if you’re considering piercings for a child. This is exactly the kind of place you want—professional, safe, and kind.

Gene knows his stuff and it shows! I was a little nervous as my first piercing experience at Claire's when I was a kid was not ideal but I'm so glad I came here. They turned out perfect. I'm currently on day 2 and no pain what so ever 😎

This is hands down the best place to get a piercing. The staff is not only incredibly professional but also kind and attentive. I have sensitive skin, and every piercing I’ve gotten here has healed perfectly thanks to the care and precision they put into their work. Their customer service is top-notch too — every time I’ve called, they’ve been patient and helpful. Highly recommend!
