Went to Jim's tonight with my wife as walk-ins. We had the pleasure of working with Liam. Both of us came with ideas in our heads and in our phones. Liam took those ideas and images and worked his magic. We both left very happy and would not hesitate to come back again. I do not leave reviews ever, but Liam crushed it and deserves the props 👏

Great traditional shop with an old school vibe. I was told to come right down and was welcomed by a very nice man who quickly got together my idea. Tattoo went great! I highly recommend Jim’s for to anyone looking for a tattoo on the sea coast .

At least one of the "artists" uses ai slop instead of actually drawing anything. Use your money on someone with integrity

Quinn was amazing. Part of my tattoo was a line around my arm, he free handed it dead straight first try. Actually unbelievable. Will be back

Yesterday I stopped by to see if someone could do some artwork I had wanted to enhance an older tattoo. Davey was great to talk to, help with design tweaks and I walked out with a tattoo better than I had hoped for! Don't hesitate to get your ink here! Ask for Davey.

Gotta say. I’ve been coming to Jim’s for 11 years. I have only ever gotten tattoos here, every single tattoo on my body was done at Jim’s even if I had to drive 3 hours to get it done. I was a happy, loyal customer for 11 years. I will never be back after yesterday. Went there as an early birthday present for myself, with 400$ in my pocket willing to spend after calling ahead and being told they could do cover ups or alterations. Have never been more disappointed. The place has gone completely downhill. Drove two hours to get there yesterday and walked out. They swore up and down my tattoo cover up would be easy as pie (considering they did the original tattoo 11 years ago and it’s a simple anarchy symbol). I gave them some ideas, they said “oh that’s easy! We can get that done today”…yeah not so much. The guy they gave me said it was impossible to cover the 1” anarchy symbol without doing a 1000$ half sleeve. I told him I didn’t even need it covered, just add 2 lines to turn it into some random shapes and I’ll pay 250$. He refused and said best he could do was a huge monster tattoo that would cover my whole arm and cost about 600-1000$. So yeah I don’t think I even need to explain the scam to upsell there. Don’t go here. 11 years as a faithful client down the drain. I’m attaching the photo of my anarchy tattoo to show just how easy it would have been to turn it into anything else. I’m also attaching an edited version showing what I would have paid literally 400$ to get done. Literally would have paid for any alteration at all. Two lines would have turned it into two triangles and a circle, random yes but I was willing to pay 250$-400$ to get it done. Apparently Jim’s can only do something to this tattoo for 1000$ somehow. Do with that info what you will. So yeah overall refused to do an alteration on an easy tattoo they gave me 11 years ago, tried to force me into a sleeve for 1000$ and then when I told them no they tried to push me to get one off the wall for 250$. I tried to make the point that any tattoo off the wall is more complicated than adding 2 lines to my anarchy tattoo, and I’d still pay 250$ and was still told no. Just don’t come here. 11 years wasted. Never going back.
