Grim North Tattoo and Piercing

Wow! Steph! Had a cartilage piercing ( at age 68). She was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, caring and oh so patient! Explained everything ( and didn’t let me see the needle- thank GOD!). The placement was PERFECT and it has put such a smile on my face and imprinted one on my 💜as well. Thank you Steph for such a wonderful experience . You rock!!!

I have been getting tattooed by Stina for over 20 years. She is a very talented artist, extremely professional and has a very clean shop. She is super friendly and really cares about her clients. Those working for her are not only talented artists themselves, they are all genuinely good people who go out of their way to make you feel safe and comfortable. I highly recommend Grim North. ❤️

Everyone in the shop is so friendly and professional, I love the vibe here. Clean shop, cute decor, outgoing artists who are very responsive to communication and very kind and accommodating! I missed out on an event tattoo and brought in a small piece of custom flash, Josh knocked it out of the park! I am so excited for my upcoming appointments with Stina and Josh. I looked for a long time for an artist with a lot of full color back-of-the-hand tattoos in their portfolio and I know I will be in good hands w Stina. Josh just killed the shading on this small piece so I am going to have him fix up some other shading as well from old tattoos. Highly recommend Grim North!!!

I brought my 17 year old for second ear piercings and we can't say enough good things about Grim North. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

11/10 stars- this was absolutely the best experience I’ve had at a tattoo studio in the 20+ years I’ve been getting tattooed. I had a specific vision and booked the appt based on Stina’s style of art, and she made it a reality. The finished tattoo is significantly better than I could have anticipated. If you are apprehensive about pain as I tend to be, she has some tricks up her sleeve to make it as comfortable as possible, and she’s *fast*. The shop is white-glove spotless (and gorgeous). The aftercare kit is comprehensive and fun, and instructions are very clearly laid out. She is an absolute pro, I could not possible recommend her enough. I was there less than 24 hours ago and am already planning my return.

I got 3 ear piercings here in one appointment and had an amazing experience with Stephanie. She was incredibly patient with waiting in between piercings, offering me water and cold compresses, and reassuring through the whole appointment. I really love how comfortable the studio feels and did not feel like the experienced was rushed whatsoever.

She walked me through each step of the process, answered all my questions, and never rushed me at any point. Her calm and professional demeanor really helped settle any nerves I had. The studio was incredibly clean and inviting, which only added to how safe and cared-for I felt. The healing process has been smooth—no pain, no swelling, and everything has gone better than expected. I highly recommend Stephanie to anyone considering a piercing!

Grim North had a PRIDE first come first serve tattoo sign up on 6/21/25. I was able to secure a slot and get tattooed by Josh right at closing. Josh did an amazing job and we had a great conversation about games and comics while getting tattooed. Very good staff and great tattoo designs! They're pride event cements them into fantastic people who bring the love back into their community! Thank you all so much!
