Rougarou Collective Tattoo Shop

First off I’ve been dealing with this since I got the tat. After 6 months it looked faded, that I had the tattoo for years! No one will touch it except one guy and I’m afraid it will just make it worse. I would like to say the artist that did it is a cool guy, nice to talk to not rude gave his thoughts. Now what upsets me is I email the artist and ask him to touch it up/fix it which AT MY APPOINTMENT he said it would be covered. In the email he wanted me to get another tattoo…then for him to touch it up. He also said it looked fine, which it’s doesn’t look fine the roses look dull and muddy at 6 months of healing?! Which his minimum is $400 (at the time not sure if it changed) I got this tat in December 2021 (first pic) 6 months after (second pic) and now…..like today. It’s still nice but compared to his work I’m kinda disappointed. I’ve gotten other tattoo artists comments and what they think and like I said I’m disappointed that this place handles touch ups, yet I got my back done and the artist touched it up no problem and even added too spots and I paid less then my leg.

I requested a tattoo and filled out the lengthy questionnaire and this was the response that I got. Hello there, we’re just getting back in town. I’m sorry about the delay. Unfortunately Richard doesn’t do religious themed tattoos. I’m really sorry about this and I don’t have anyone else I’d recommend. That's okay because I couldn't think of anyone I would recommend to your tattoo shop. Very unprofessional.

I got one of my dream tattoos here at the beginning of December, a lovely moth drawn and done by Halle. She was incredibly friendly, talked to me, joked - it was a great experience. However, a couple weeks after I had asked about a spot on my tattoo AND began talking about my next tattoo. It's upsetting because I never got a response after sending her a picture of the terrible scarring left behind that shows she didn't tattoo deep enough. The messages were deleted, her tag on my tattoo post was removed. I have waited two months almost to receive a response in case she was that busy but this is incredibly frustrating. The two branches on the bottom are really messed up and the line work at the bottom of the wing doesn't even line up.. I really loved the tattoo when I got it but not getting a response or having the decency of a good tattoo artist to respond or take responsibility about the poor technique is very upsetting.

i have smp job done here about a yr ago. have a real positive experience with kyrt gates. he really is devoted to his craft and cares about what you want. he pays real attention to the details. i recommend him. im very thankful

Halle was so professional and quick! She made sure I was comfortable the whole time and was a pleasure getting to know her. She’s your girl for solid line work!

Harley did one of my tattoos & was very lovely with the drawing process! She was great at communicating with me & listening to my input! The tattoo process was smooth & well done! Definitely want to go back again!(:

Harley is an amazing artist! She’s very flexible with her work to make sure you get the design you want! She listens to your concerns and provides helpful insights and suggestions. She is also friendly and approachable for those of you out there who may be feeling shy or anxious about getting your first tattoo! She’s really great 10/10!
