I have lived all over the Western US before coming to IA and this is absolutely the best shop I've been tattooed at. I'm currently three sessions deep on a full sleeve with the owner Josh (2nd piece from PR) and he is consistently fantastic to work with. He is always positive and is excited to collaborate as we work through my ideas and translate them into really unique art. He is also a talented artist so my half baked turbo-nerd nonsense is somehow turning into something amazing! Josh has an easy hand so I can sit for 6 hours at a session w/o feeling like I'm going to throw up and the work always comes out impeccable. Good clean lines and vibrant color are the norm. This has nothing to do with the quality of the work but I also really love the atmosphere of the shop itself. Instead of walls covered in generic flash with a loud hard rock soundtrack I can groove with some quality jazz and look at the real art while I'm getting worked on. All in all its just a quality experience for grown ups to get top notch tattoos.

Guy was nice through email on my and on phone but took several days for a response whereas most businesses reply within 48hrs.

got a tattoo here during the pandemic, i don't think the artist works here anymore but it healed nicely and i get compliments on it all the time

Josh is amazing!! I wanted to get something special for my first tattoo to honor my late wife, who battled breast cancer for 19 years. He used pictures of one of her favorite flowers and created this. I am beyond happy. He created the perfect memorial tattoo for her. The colors and details are awesome. Thank you Josh!!!

Cover up tattoo of a name in black ink. Kayanna chose a koi fish with light colors. Two days later the entire name came back through after I paid $400.00. I was scheduled for a follow up and she text me 3 hours before saying she had burned her hands the night before so couldn't keep appointment. The bottom part had already as started fading on the line work. She was extremely heavy handed as the pain was terrible and I have a tattoo on my other foot that didn't hurt at all. Of course she refuses to give any kind of refund and she now wants to touch it up. If she thinks I'm going to let her touch me again she is crazy. I have found an extremely reputable tattoo artist that is going to fix the damage which will cost me again. Kayanna has NO business tattooing anyone!
