Black Ink Tattoo and Body Piercing

I have been to Dan’s shop 5 times now, and I have nothing but good things to say about him. He helps me design my tattoo, and makes sure I’m completely happy before we start. Then is very detailed and makes sure it looks exactly how I want it to look before I leave. I would highly recommend you check out his shop. I plan on going to him for future tattoos.

Dan not only took my ideas and brought them to life but he went out of his way to ask about different drawing, shading/ and filler ideas and took his time making sure every detail was perfect before finishing! If I could give him 20 stars I would. Thank you for always making sure every experience is fun! :)

I have multiple tattoos and the one from Black ink was the worst tattoo I have gotten!! I got recommended this place from my sister, however she had a different artist than me. I got it three months ago, and the linework is terrible. Also all the lines are one thickness, when I wanted the lines to have depth and detail- the artist ONLY took 1 hour! I have multiple Linework tattoos, and my other one took FOUR hours, and it looks beautiful. I’m truly upset about this tattoo I gotten at black ink. Very upsetting because I got this for my mom for Mother’s Day. This is 100% going to be a cover-up, which I’m truly devastated about. If the artists just took his time it would have looked great. Not to mention he also told me “you’re very young to be having all these tattoos,” I told him I am a tattoo apprentice!!!! Of course I have tattoos!!! I will never be going here again. I gave him a tip 15% anyway, but wow am I disappointed. I would have been happy spending 4 hours in the chair and spend $500 on this tattoo, instead of 1 hour worth of work on my arm. Artists need to take their time.😡

This was the worst tattoo experience I’ve ever had. I went in excited for something meaningful and left with a rushed, patchy mess — done by the owner himself. He was rude from the start, shamed me for using numbing cream, and made me feel completely dismissed. When the bandage started peeling and water got under it, my boyfriend called the shop. The artist told us to come back and said he’d replace it — but when we got there, he barely looked at it, told me to “calm down,” and brushed me off. I felt completely ignored, and yes, water had gotten in just like I said. Now the tattoo is already faded and splotchy. My boyfriend’s (done the same day) is just as bad — and he didn’t use numbing cream, so that excuse doesn’t fly. The artist even cursed during his session after messing up a few lines. It shows. If you care about quality and basic respect, go somewhere else. My tattoos were the bunny and finger his was the flower.

Very pleased with the level of care and service at Black Ink! First time customer who came in as a walk in to get a remembrance tattoo and could not be more pleased with the results!!! Will return for more work and absolutely going to spread the word! Thank you Mike and Dan for excellent service and style! Cheers to many more art pieces added to this beautiful canvas 😎🥰 Rachel
