Newage Tattoos and Body Piercings

I walked in last Wednesday unsure of what I wanted. I had made an appointment with the vet to take my baby in. I was most likely not bringing him home. I knew for sure I wanted a tattoo of a Yorkie. I originally thought I wanted his picture as a tattoo. I am so grateful for Andy’s patience with me and talking with me. He was extremely helpful and even suggested the perfect idea. He stayed and talked me through it. He took the picture I thought I wanted and suggested a caricature of my Yorkie. I knew I had to do it that day because I did not want my baby suffering anymore. I will always be grateful for Andy’s help and kindness. He had always been good to me when I go there. I would not go anywhere else! Between Andy talking to me and him and Jesse collaborating, I am 100% satisfied with the results! I will be forever grateful for Andy that morning! My appointment that afternoon did not turn out so well. Jesse was even able to put a couple of features from my Yorkie.

My dad and I went in together to get tattoos at New Age. The guy at the front desk was super friendly with the scheduling and ensured we could get tattooed at the same time. His artist was Jason and mine was Jesse. We're both super happy with the outcomes of our tattoos! Jesse's work is so clean and crisp. Great line work and saturation. He's very light handed as well, which is always appreciated! I will definitely go back to him in the future!

Got my Monroe done today by Roger he was amazing all the way from the actual piercing to explaining the aftercare would recommend 10/10 shop was super nice and clean had a great atmosphere as well definitely will be back!!!!

Got my belly button pierced by someone else while I was out of town, the bar was kinda short and started to sink down into my stomach. Went to new age and the piercer told me it would be 100$ to look at since he didnt do the peircing (thats fine, I won't argue about pricing). Told him thats a bit too much and he insisted on seeing it and told me I definitely need a longer bar, but again, cant do it unless I pay 100$. Then tells me we need to talk about diet. Tells me sugar makes things swell and I need to lay off drinking sodas and stuff. I have my own stomach sensitivities and I do not eat sugar when possible, I have limited myself to only drinking water and hot tea (w/ NO sugar). I tell him this and he goes mhm yeah tea with sugar will make it swell. To which I just say okay and leave. Can't help but feel it was targeted at my weight and the fact that im a larger person with a belly button piercing. Won't be going back. A few of my friends even have complained to me too that he tells them they smell bad or asks why they smell weird coming from their job. Not the first bad experience there and probably wouldn't be the last if I kept going, not a fan of the front desks attitude either, its like they're upset you want to book something.
