This is hands down the best tattoo shop in town. Charlie does phenomenal work and is my artist of choice when I’m in town. It’s a clean, quiet shop with a phenomenal atmosphere and welcoming staff. The hardest part of moving has been resisting the urge to book a flight to come back to get tattooed by Charlie. He was my artist for 3.5 years after finding him on accident, asking around for a recommendation and has been my go to since. (Some of the photos are fresh, others are healed)

I’ve know Charlie since 2014 and since then have occurred over 20 plus tattoos many of which were personally designed by him. Charlie is hands down the most talented and most professional artist in Augusta,GA. He’s extremely thorough and pays attention to detail with always the clients health and satisfaction in mind. I still remember sharing with him during our first meeting how happy I was to finally find and artist who’s easy to talk to about future ideas and very approachable. I’ll wrapped this up by saying that am always proud to tell folks who always approach me with compliments about Charlie’s awesome work.

I can’t say enough good things about this shop. From the second you walk in, you can tell it’s not one of those cookie-cutter, rushed tattoo spots. The vibe is laid back but professional, and the artists here actually care about what you’re putting on your body. The shop’s clean, the work is legit, and they take the time to make sure your piece comes out exactly how you want it. No pressure, no attitude, just people who love what they do and do it damn well. I’ve seen the stuff that’s walked out of here, hell I even wear a bunch of it on my body, and it’s the kind of quality that makes strangers stop you and ask, “Where’d you get that done?” If you’re thinking about your first tattoo or adding to the collection, this should be your go-to spot. Chill atmosphere, skilled artists, and work you’ll be proud to wear forever.

I moved to the area 5 years ago and was searching for a shop and artist that was likeminded and kind. Often times, I walk into tattoo shops and I am greeted with negative energy or sour artists that seemingly want me to turn around and walk out. I happened to walk into Mr. Tattoo on my hunt for a shop up my alley, and ran directly into the owner/artist…Charlie. I was immediately floored with the way he carried himself while talking with a potential client. Ive never met such a genuine and authentic person in a tattoo shop. 5 years later…and I am still loyal to Charlie and Mr. Tattoo. I’ve gotten multiple large pieces from Charlie since, and every time I step into this building, I'm reminded why I keep coming back. If you’re looking for great vibes, great people, and great tattoos, Mr. tattoo is THE spot.

Absolutely amazing service. He was super understanding and accommodating to all of my needs, especially considering there was another artists work that I wanted him to go on top of. Prices are completely reasonable for the quality tattoos he gives, and he’s so cool to talk to! Don’t hesitate giving Charlie a shot if you’re looking to get something done!
