Moth & Magpie Tattoo

I went yesterday with my friend, who had an appointment to get a tattoo. As soon as we walked in, the atmosphere was calming—very friendly and welcoming. While waiting, I decided to get my first tattoo. I was a little nervous, but Jake, the owner, walked me through the process, explaining everything in detail. He was very kind, understanding, and even helped me choose an idea. All the equipment was spotless, and the shop was extremely clean and comforting. The tattoo itself was done in what felt like the blink of an eye, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Jake also explained aftercare thoroughly, which made me feel even more confident. I’m so happy with both the service and my new tattoo—I’d definitely recommend this place!

(update: this artist is at Anbu now!!!) personally, i got this tattoo done by Sam (squid), and she was absolutely amazing!!! i gave her a picture of what i wanted, she messaged me about making some really cool alterations, and i said GO FOR IT! she included me in the process every step of the way which made me feel so comfortable. i asked for the final design to be a surprise until i got there (personal preference), and when i saw it… O. M. G. I FELL IN LOVE!!! it was super chill throughout the whole process and she told me everything i needed to know about taking care of it (and his preferred products). i got little goodies afterwards that i adore, and i’m feeling awesome the day after :) thank you SO MUCH squid!! i absolutely love it :)

Great atmosphere! Everyone was super helpful and informative. Definitely can tell they all really enjoy their work. Got today's piece done by Dandi and love it. Thanks all and I'm already looking forward to my next trip out!

Everyone is super nice and makes sure you are comfortable! I brought my tattoo idea to Jake and he brought my idea to life. Completely created a beautiful one of a kind piece. Jake is an amazing artist, highly recommend! He puts so much effort and thought into his work and it shows!

Do you guys take walk in for piercings?

Literally the best. Got my first ever tattoo here and Jake drew it beautifully and was so kind the entire way through the tattoo!! Definitely will be going here for all my future tattoos!

I got a flash design from Moth & Magpie for Friday the 13th. I chose here versus other local shops because their art was of higher quality and I love the vibes of the shop. My experience was exactly as I'd hoped for: polite and quick service, experienced and student artists alike, and a clean environment. I will definitely be coming back here.
