Modern Moose Studios is hands down a cut above the rest. Steve, the Owner, is an INCREDIBLE Artist and can make any idea come to life! He is in a Masters Class for sure. I highly reccommend this studio for anyone who is looking for an artist who takes his time and cares about his clients. Steve is Super detailed. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Steve is a master of his craft — the kind of artist who blends old-school tattoo wisdom with a deep understanding of modern technique and technology. You’re not just getting someone who can operate a machine; you’re getting a true artist who can draw, design, and bring a vision to life without relying on cookie-cutter stencils or internet printouts. I’m two sessions into a full leg piece, and already I’m blown away by the detail, precision, and creative flow he’s put into it. The man doesn’t just tattoo — he engineers art onto skin. If the final product looks even half as incredible as what I have so far, I’ll be absolutely ecstatic. Beyond the ink, Steve's studio feels like a space built for real artists and real clients. It's professional but welcoming, elevated without being pretentious — just like the man himself. Victor was fantastic! Even though I was just getting a small memorial tattoo of a pet that has passed, he treated me with just as much respect as a higher paying client. His suggestion for stippling also made it look way better than a flat color. PLUS the office looked like an upscale doctor's office, but with cool art on the walls. It was so nice, and from now on I will not be going to any other tattoo place, and I will be recommending people to this place for sure! I am super impressed!

Emailed to get pricing and an appointment for piercing. They got back to me on pricing immediately but never answered my follow up about scheduling. I went into the store a couple days later where they said they were booked through that day but would call me as soon as they had a moment. I waited two days, emailed again, and got no response. If you're looking to actually get a service done, go somewhere else.

Short version: Go here. It's clean, they're nice, the lines are smooth, and the music hits. Short story long: I haven't gotten a tattoo in years. A part of it was being super picky, another part of it was planning a tattoo for my mom and I. Then she was suddenly gone and my spiral of depression did not involve ink therapy. I had the idea one day to get a goofy picture of my cat, for numerous reasons. This was one of my mom's favorite cats, she fought for him, she showed me how to feed him after a dog attack that left him with a feeding tube and a crooked jaw. He is an absolutely goofy dude, even after all the tragedy he's been through. I wanted something fun, but still with meaning. And this was a shop she had considered for her next round of ink, so I messaged them with my ridiculous idea. Steve seemed to enjoy it and have fun with it. I shared stories of my cat Berlioz and he found the perfect mix of fun and goofy. Steve was respectful, honored the slight change I wanted, and checked in as he worked. I cannot say enough good things about this place. It was super clean, Steve was nice and had a really light touch, the price was more than fair for the work. It looks phenomenal and I cannot wait to show it off when it heals. You can bet I'll be back for more ink. Maybe more silliness and some serious pieces. This is the place to go.

Would never come here again after what they did to Ben. Not only that, their pricing is a rip off.

Josh hooked me up with my first ear piercings. I was nervous about it but he's a pro and a great guy, I'm very happy with my decision!
