Southernmost Tattoo

So my husband and I always get small tattoos when we travel so we decided to do the same when we went to Key West. I looked up shops and came across a female owned shop and thought perfect they won’t try to scam us….. welp I was wrong. We decided to get something from their flash sheet and we made the rookie mistake of not asking how much it would be. We saw a sign saying shop minimum was $100 so we knew it was going to be at least $150 but then they charged us $250 for this piece, qtip for size. Maybe because we were walk in’s and they don’t like that? Who knows but as you can see the rooster isn’t colored in all the way and will heal poorly as well as the top line of the box looks like it’s blowing out so good luck to the rest of the lines. This piece took in total from set up to tattooing about 20-25mins and you can see the size. $250 for this, something that wasn’t even done properly. If you’re looking to get something done in Key West please go somewhere else and don’t make our mistake. My husbands tattoo is just as bad

My wife got a custom made tattoo from the studio. And it is amazing. Awesome staff at the front. Marissa the artist was wonderful. Tattoo looks amazing. Very professional and clean while still being friendly and welcoming. Wonderful atmosphere in the wait area.

Do not go here. One the person I booked was not the person who gave me the tattoo. Two she never even introduced her self to me. The tattoo took about 20mins for a very small and basic tattoo. After healing the tattoo looks terrible the outline did not stay and the color is super blotchy. I have to now spend more money on top of the outrageous shop minimum of $200. To get it fixed. ( also they say the price reflects experience, and the girl that did my tattoo was definitely not very experienced aka apprentice). So if they are basing it off of that it should’ve been well under $200. If they wanted to give me the trainee they should’ve of least let me know. Again don’t waste your time going here honestly. Inked is better and cheaper. Do note the girl at the desk was very nice and she does a great job, the tattoo though awful.

My tattoo artist was awesome, beautiful work, attention to detail and I was in and out in about an hour and a half. This is my second time at Southern Most Tattoo and I will be back for another.
