Sunshine State Tattoo

I got a tattoo from Tyler Nolan on the 19th of June 2025 and let me say the best experience I could have ever asked for. This was my first large tattoo and he worked with me and gave me advise and was overall the most chill artist you can ask for. The work is amazing, the design and creativity is amazing. And Tyler is a down to earth chill dude. Highly recommend anybody looking to get a tattoo here to do it and even more highly recommend Tyler for your next tattoo!

Would like to provide a better rating, but this place was closed during the hours it is supposed to be open. I drove 40 min through traffic to arrive at a closed shop. It's rush hour. Heading back home.

I'm visiting from out of town and stopped in on a Friday night as a walk in. There were no artists available, but based on my request, they recommended Renee and gave me her card. She quickly returned my text, confirmed she could do my tattoo, and gave me a Saturday afternoon appointment. Renee is an amazing artist! She has a very light touch and a great attitude. I LOVE my little turtle, and if I lived here, I would definitely return!

Maya Zink is an absolutely amazing tattoo artist. I have gone to her for two tattoo pieces thus far, and cannot wait to get a third!

Chase at Sunshine State Tattoo is a world class artist. You can immediately tell that he is special by the state of Florida tattoo on his face. I have met people from all over that recognize his work. He is a genuinely good person and sitting with him for days at a time was fun, well as fun as 10 hours of wiping a raw tattoo over and over can be. He can't draw stick figures for shit, but his geometric work is 🤌. Empowered by Red Bull (who needs to sponsor him at this point) Chase is methodical and detailed, because he is a perfectionist, which is exactly what you want. He only said "oops" a few times. His line work is second to none, except Pablo Escobar. He has a light touch which was a welcome reprieve. If you are into masochism he probably isn't the right artist for you. Cool shop, cool artists, great experience.
