Famous Tattoo & Body Piercing

My go to tattoo shop. I’ve gone to Manny for years and he is amazing. I have several pieces by him and many planned for the future. The atmosphere and personality within the shop is like being with the best people of your family constantly laughing and keeping it lighthearted and having a great time. Manny is professional and builds great client/artist relationships. He is thorough and honest about what looks best and what he recommends for the best quality. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Corraline pierced my daughter today. It was an amazing experience. She talked to her and calmed her nerves before she started. Also Talked her through the process and made her feel extremely comfortable, we will be going back and hope to have her again.

Poor customer experience. I called to inquire if they can accommodate a walk in to remove a nose ring for an MRI I had. I walk to the front and am completely ignored by 3 men sitting in a circle chatting about who knows what. I have to interrupt after a few minutes to receive acknowledgement. They forget I called in for a walk in appointment, and I sit around for another few minutes before the piercer walks in and is wondering why I haven't checked in yet - no one gave me any instructions. I inquire if the piercer is familiar how to remove this certain type of jewelry, he proceeds to remove in what appears to be an inappropriate way for my type of nose ring. He proceeds to bend my very expensive gold ring, stating "is the hole damaged, it appears the jewelry is bent" when he was the one who bent it to remove it improperly. I asked him multiple times if he was familiar how to remove this specific type of jewelry, and he kept saying yes. I go back to my normal piercer and she was bewildered how bent the jewelry was mentioning that many don't know how to properly remove this piece. I don't think I will go here again, and I was not presented with the correct information as to the skills of the piercer.

Called asked if they sold piercings. Told by staff that the piercer is out , totally understandable it was around 8:30pm. I explained I’ve had my lip piercings for 13 years and I just need to buy the jewelry because I lost a stud. Staff on phone told me you can come when the piercer is in tomorrow… I identified I don’t need the piercer, I just want to buy the jewelry. Told by the staff that they don’t know the sizing . I explained I just need the jewelry and I’ve had mine for so many years I can just see the jewelry and I’ll know if it will work. In response I got told they’re closed… when google says hours are until 10pm… I just want to save myself the pain of breaking through skin .. 🥲 I just wanted to buy local and feel disappointed

Stoped by Famous Tattoo & Piercing today. Got piercing by professional piercer Coralline. Very impressed with the studio, the art and the entire experience. Clean, friendly and a great vibe. Thx so much for taking me as a walk-in and the charmingly professional total experience. Very pleased !
