Southtown is the place to go in the Fort Smith area. They’re all very talented, knowledgeable, and all around amazing people. Alyssa has always done amazing work on me. Both black & gray and color. The last one I got was this owl. She will definitely give you something you’re happy with and proud to show off.

I just got my first and only tattoo here. It’s a memorial tattoo for my dog. The tattoo is about 2” x 5.6”, and it’s my dog’s paw print followed by his name and a little heart. I tried a bunch of other places, but all of them had a catch. One place was out of business, one place only took cash, one place said “we’ll just let our trainee do the tattoo, you’ll be fine”, one place was way too expensive, and one place just seemed dirty and unsanitary. But this place was fantastic. Great atmosphere, experienced staff, clean space, and they were super patient and understanding. I was nervous because I’d never had a tattoo before, but they walked me through the process, made sure I was comfortable, and listened to my concerns. The artist who did my tattoo made sure I wasn’t stressed, and didn’t start until I was ready. He said he’s been doing tattoos for 14 years, and that really put me at ease. 100% recommend

I just got a new tattoo from this place earlier today. My first time going to this place for a tattoo and I have to say I'm very impressed! The artist Adam did SUCH an amazing job on my tattoo and the price ended up being cheaper than I expected. Overall I love this place and I plan on coming back again in the future!

Got my first tattoo from Alyssa today, she did a wonderful job. Talked me through the whole thing, explained aftercare well, and regularly checked in on how I was doing. I will definitely be back!

Got two piercings here and a half sleeve.. went back to get my entire arm finished and I was truly disappointed with my experience.. I was scheduled with Albert. At first, we met in person to discuss the piece I wanted. I was quoted "$700-$800" and told the piece would cover the majority of the other half of my arm. (I explained I wanted to plan for finishing up the sleeve.) Seemed like we was on the same page besides him complaining about "how much time it would take..." so we make the appointment. Fast forward.. I arrive, his attitude is crap, & he appears to be irritated and sick with a runny nose. I got there the time agreed upon and he was saying that he could not find a stencil that looked like the bear I wanted. I was told to "go get some lunch and give him time to work on it." But.. I thought that was the purpose of meeting and discussing to get a plan down and he said he would have to draw it out.. so I left & when I came back, he put the stencil on and SIGHED in annoyance.. at this point I am definitely second guessing even letting him start the tattoo. BUT, he had done my first big piece so I wanted the entire arm to be his work.. fast forward- he worked on it for about 6 hours and said he had to stop because it was killing him.. no worries, I'm an understanding person. But the tattoo looked like garbage. I literally went home and could not stop crying thinking what did I just do.. I decided to let the swelling heal, relax, give it time and hope it was not as bad as I thought. BUT IT WAS. I reached out and addressed my concerns. At this point, I had already paid. I was told I would have to pay for the mistakes to be corrected. I said that did not seem fair to me considering what the tattoo looked like. The eyes on the bear did not align, one eye did NOT look right at all. On the other side were roses and small flowers. They were messed up also. The shape of them, the color EVERYTHING. He had gotten green from the leaf into one of the small flowers.. so when I said I didn't see that to be fair, it was agreed upon to do some touch ups and "get a quote for finishing the arm." So I go in for the touch ups. He worked at it for 3 hours or so. The flowers were not touched. I mentioned the eye on the bear, the green in the flower, the flower shapes.. he said he "wasn't finished with the flowers" and that was it. There was also a butterfly in the piece that was not colored in and it looked very scratchy and just like CRAP. he said the same thing- he was not done with it yet.. nothing was really fixed or touched up. We scheduled for next session but I knew I could not go back. I could NOT pour more money into something that was doomed from the start & at this point, I did not trust this artist. So I reached out and explained I had found another artist to finish what he started and I simply got an ok thanks for the update. I'm out a big chunk of money and it's overall DISAPPOINTING. I don't like being this type of person, but I am simply giving the truth of my experience.. I know this is long so if you have made it this far, MAKE SURE to listen to your gut and make sure you choose the right artist. If an artist seems like they are not at all interested in the piece, nor your concerns... red flag. I have photos from start to finish and every imperfection. Luckily, I found an artist willing to rework what will eventually be a beautiful tattoo. This will definitely be a lesson learned and I will not be back, even though there are some cool people there. Another thing to add, the piece did not cover the majority of my arm. I have numerous gaps that I'm going to have to figure out what to fill with.. when that's WHY I asked how much it would cover. Do better.
