Modern Ink Tattoo

i had such a great experience at modern ink. i got tattooed by hannah and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. her communication was excellent and i was especially impressed during the consultation because she was able to perfectly piece together the idea i was trying to describe and turn it into the tattoo i wanted. she even saved the stencils for both pieces, which i thought was so thoughtful. i’ve already rescheduled my second tattoo with her and can’t wait to come back. highly recommend!

I generally don’t leave reviews, but I came to Modern Ink and had a great experience, so I thought I’d share it with the community. While searching tattoo shops in my area for my son’s first tattoo and cover-up work for my arms, I came across Modern Ink. I called them and asked if they do walk-ins. The girl who picked up the phone was helpful and friendly; she let me know that it’s first come, first serve. When we arrived, we were greeted instantly, and my son was taken care of first. His artist was (Bamboo) Bam, who did an exceptional job and was very accommodating, as my son only had ideas and was still unsure of the design he wanted. Bam was able to bring his vision to life and get him tatted. The tattoo came out perfect and will be something he can grow from in time. While my son was getting his tattoo, I was greeted by my artist, Mikey. Just like the rest of the shop, Mikey was friendly and completely accommodating—even after I watched some dumb broad come in and storm out, saying he was rude and unprofessional. I witnessed the whole interaction, and he was friendly, courteous, and just as accommodating to other clients as he was with me. I needed two sleeve cover-ups done for myself, and I’ve had a hard time finding the right artist. I’m a union crane operator/iron worker and was looking for someone who could recreate the image I had in my mind. Mikey instantly went to work, grabbing the right scenes from reference material and piecing together a custom design that practically read my mind. He was quick to stencil up and get the image on the skin. Communication and engagement throughout the session were 5-star quality—he was attentive and flexible to any changes during the session. It was a relief to find a talented artist I can go back to and trust to get the work done that I need. Even while all the other artists went home for the night, Mikey worked overtime and stayed hours later to try to complete the piece, without pressuring or rushing me to extend the session at a later time. I’ll complete my novel of a review with this: I highly recommend Modern Ink—and especially Mikey—to get the job done. Thanks, guys! My son and I will be returning clients for all our tattoo needs.

Kenzi is great! I'm a new believer in Christ and had some inappropriate tattoos I wanted to make more appropriate so I could better represent the Lord. Kenzi went above and beyond to make that happen! I am well pleased with his work. Now I can show my tattoos without shame. May God bless this man! 🙏🙌

Kenzi Wood is an amazing artist and is awesome to talk to. The tattoo shop itself is very clean and relaxing combined with the music and sugar if you need a pick me up it was an experience to remember. For sure going back for many more.

I was a walk in and was helped immediately by friendly staff. Explained what i wanted to Johnny and he worked with me on the tattoo I described. Johnny worked fast and efficiently and finished the tattoo the same day. ( That may vary depending if an artist is open or has appointments )They had drinks/water bottles nice and chilled as well as snacks while you are waiting or getting tattooed. The staff makes sure you are comfortable and feel welcomed. I really enjoyed working with Johnny and he truly did a better job then I could have ever imagined.

Walked in for a tattoo and was finished and out the door in less than an hour. Love it!

Incredible tattoos these artists are amazing, everyone is super nice and they take their time to explain everything to you and make sure it’s what you want and like. Jianna did my tattoo and she is incredible!
