--- type: state_ranking name: "The 10 best tattoo shops in Utah" state: "Utah" abbr: "UT" shops: 10 eligible: 39 url: https://www.localtattoos.com/utah/best-tattoo-shops/ --- # The 10 best tattoo shops in Utah 39 shops in Utah carry at least 25 Google reviews and qualify; these are the top 10. ## How this is ranked Shops are ordered by a Bayesian-adjusted rating: (n × rating + 320 × 4.79) ÷ (n + 320), where n is the shop's Google review count, 320 is the median review count across the directory and 4.79 is the directory-wide mean rating. Only shops with at least 25 reviews qualify; ties go to the shop with more reviews. Ordering is computed at build time from two facts per shop — its Google rating and its Google review count. One listing per street address, and nobody paid for a position. ## The ranking | # | Shop | City | Rating | Reviews | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | 1 | [Tattoo Ink Utah, LLC](https://www.localtattoos.com/utah/west-jordan/tattoo-ink-utah-llc.md) | West Jordan | 5.0 | 429 | | 2 | [Legacy Tattoo](https://www.localtattoos.com/utah/ogden/legacy-tattoo.md) | Ogden | 4.9 | 1,500 | | 3 | [Studio Elev8 Tattoo](https://www.localtattoos.com/utah/south-jordan/studio-elev8-tattoo.md) | South Jordan | 5.0 | 214 | | 4 | [Salty Kitten Tattoo Co.](https://www.localtattoos.com/utah/murray/salty-kitten-tattoo-co.md) | Murray | 5.0 | 199 | | 5 | [The Tattoo Shop](https://www.localtattoos.com/utah/orem/the-tattoo-shop.md) | Orem | 4.9 | 599 | | 6 | [Gypsie Soul Tattoo](https://www.localtattoos.com/utah/salt-lake-city/gypsie-soul-tattoo.md) | Salt Lake City | 4.9 | 587 | | 7 | [Sugar Studios](https://www.localtattoos.com/utah/salt-lake-city/sugar-studios.md) | Salt Lake City | 4.9 | 557 | | 8 | [Hearts and Hands Tattoo and Piercing](https://www.localtattoos.com/utah/orem/hearts-and-hands-tattoo-and-piercing.md) | Orem | 4.9 | 524 | | 9 | [Koi Dragon Tattoos](https://www.localtattoos.com/utah/murray/koi-dragon-tattoos.md) | Murray | 4.9 | 450 | | 10 | [Only Forever Tattoo](https://www.localtattoos.com/utah/salt-lake-city/only-forever-tattoo.md) | Salt Lake City | 4.9 | 379 | ### 1.
