--- type: state_ranking name: "The 10 best tattoo shops in Rhode Island" state: "Rhode Island" abbr: "RI" shops: 10 eligible: 12 url: https://www.localtattoos.com/rhode-island/best-tattoo-shops/ --- # The 10 best tattoo shops in Rhode Island 12 shops in Rhode Island carry at least 25 Google reviews and qualify; these are the top 10. ## How this is ranked Shops are ordered by a Bayesian-adjusted rating: (n × rating + 320 × 4.79) ÷ (n + 320), where n is the shop's Google review count, 320 is the median review count across the directory and 4.79 is the directory-wide mean rating. Only shops with at least 25 reviews qualify; ties go to the shop with more reviews. Ordering is computed at build time from two facts per shop — its Google rating and its Google review count. One listing per street address, and nobody paid for a position. ## The ranking | # | Shop | City | Rating | Reviews | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | 1 | [Beautiful Ink Tattoo Collective](https://www.localtattoos.com/rhode-island/cumberland/beautiful-ink-tattoo-collective.md) | Cumberland | 5.0 | 578 | | 2 | [Pierce & Ink](https://www.localtattoos.com/rhode-island/providence/pierce-ink.md) | Providence | 4.9 | 480 | | 3 | [F.I.N.A.O.
