--- type: state_ranking name: "The 10 best tattoo shops in Massachusetts" state: "Massachusetts" abbr: "MA" shops: 10 eligible: 50 url: https://www.localtattoos.com/massachusetts/best-tattoo-shops/ --- # The 10 best tattoo shops in Massachusetts 50 shops in Massachusetts carry at least 25 Google reviews and qualify; these are the top 10. ## How this is ranked Shops are ordered by a Bayesian-adjusted rating: (n × rating + 320 × 4.79) ÷ (n + 320), where n is the shop's Google review count, 320 is the median review count across the directory and 4.79 is the directory-wide mean rating. Only shops with at least 25 reviews qualify; ties go to the shop with more reviews. Ordering is computed at build time from two facts per shop — its Google rating and its Google review count. One listing per street address, and nobody paid for a position. ## The ranking | # | Shop | City | Rating | Reviews | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | 1 | [Elegance Piercing & Tattoo Inc.](https://www.localtattoos.com/massachusetts/worcester/elegance-piercing-tattoo-inc.md) | Worcester | 5.0 | 494 | | 2 | [Timeless Ink Tattoos](https://www.localtattoos.com/massachusetts/peabody/timeless-ink-tattoos.md) | Peabody | 5.0 | 347 | | 3 | [North Shore Tattoo Company](https://www.localtattoos.com/massachusetts/danvers/north-shore-tattoo-company.md) | Danvers | 5.0 | 296 | | 4 | [Holistic Ink Boston Tattoo Shop](https://www.localtattoos.com/massachusetts/dorchester/holistic-ink-boston-tattoo-shop.md) | Dorchester | 4.9 | 1,800 | | 5 | [Little City Tattoos Ink & Beauty](https://www.localtattoos.com/massachusetts/new-bedford/little-city-tattoos-ink-beauty.md) | New Bedford | 5.0 | 249 | | 6 | [Intricate Ink Tattoo & Piercing](https://www.localtattoos.com/massachusetts/peabody/intricate-ink-tattoo-piercing.md) | Peabody | 5.0 | 234 | | 7 | [Keepsake Custom Tattoo & Body Piercing](https://www.localtattoos.com/massachusetts/salisbury/keepsake-custom-tattoo-body-piercing.md) | Salisbury | 4.9 | 735 | | 8 | [The Black Rose Tattoo Company](https://www.localtattoos.com/massachusetts/worcester/the-black-rose-tattoo-company.md) | Worcester | 4.9 | 524 | | 9 | [The Kingdom Tattoo Framingham](https://www.localtattoos.com/massachusetts/framingham/the-kingdom-tattoo-framingham.md) | Framingham | 4.9 | 413 | | 10 | [Casa Ink](https://www.localtattoos.com/massachusetts/danvers/casa-ink.md) | Danvers | 4.9 | 377 | ### 1.
