Only shops with at least 25 reviews qualify; ties go to the shop with more reviews. Ordering is computed at build time from two facts per shop — its Google rating and its Google review count. One listing per street address, and nobody paid for a position. ## Ranked shops | # | Shop | City | Rating | Reviews | Reviewers mention | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | 1 | [Idle Hands Tattoo Studio](https://www.localtattoos.com/tennessee/knoxville/idle-hands-tattoo-studio.md) | Knoxville | 5.0 | 402 | Fine Line, Black & Grey, Aftercare Products | | 2 | [me2tattoo](https://www.localtattoos.com/tennessee/memphis/me2tattoo.md) | Memphis | 5.0 | 253 | Minimalist / Micro, Tattoo Touch-Ups, Cover-Up Tattoos | | 3 | [One Drop Ink Creative Suites](https://www.localtattoos.com/tennessee/nashville/one-drop-ink-creative-suites.md) | Nashville | 4.9 | 747 | Walk-ins Welcome, Cover-Up Tattoos, Custom Tattoo Designs | | 4 | [Chipper Harbin Tattoos](https://www.localtattoos.com/tennessee/nashville/chipper-harbin-tattoos.md) | Nashville | 5.0 | 122 | Cover-Up Tattoos, Custom Tattoo Designs, Online Booking | | 5 | [Iris Tattoo & Piercings Nashville](https://www.localtattoos.com/tennessee/nashville/iris-tattoo-piercings-nashville.md) | Nashville | 4.9 | 326 | Walk-ins Welcome, Piercing Services, Flash Tattoos Available | | 6 | [Purple Heart Tattoo](https://www.localtattoos.com/tennessee/knoxville/purple-heart-tattoo.md) | Knoxville | 4.9 | 247 | American Traditional, Japanese / Irezumi, Black & Grey | | 7 | [Skin City Ink Memphis - Tattoo & Piercing](https://www.localtattoos.com/tennessee/memphis/skin-city-ink-memphis-tattoo-piercing.md) | Memphis | 4.9 | 211 | Piercing Services, Cover-Up Tattoos, Online Booking | | 8 | [Skin Design Tattoos Nashville](https://www.localtattoos.com/tennessee/nashville/skin-design-tattoos-nashville.md) | Nashville | 5.0 | 79 | Fine Line, Japanese / Irezumi, Black & Grey | | 9 | [Sunrise Tattoo](https://www.localtattoos.com/tennessee/nashville/sunrise-tattoo.md) | Nashville | 4.9 | 66 | Japanese / Irezumi, Walk-ins Welcome, Cover-Up Tattoos | | 10 | [Mythical Markings Tattoo Studio](https://www.localtattoos.com/tennessee/knoxville/mythical-markings-tattoo-studio.md) | Knoxville | 4.8 | 536 | Cover-Up Tattoos, Walk-ins Welcome, Piercing Services | | 11 | [Archangel Tattoo & Piercing](https://www.localtattoos.com/tennessee/madison/archangel-tattoo-piercing.md) | Madison | 4.8 | 366 | Piercing Services, Tattoo Touch-Ups, Cover-Up Tattoos | | 12 | [Freedom Tattoo, Inc.](https://www.localtattoos.com/tennessee/hixson/freedom-tattoo-inc.md) | Hixson | 4.8 | 345 | Black & Grey, Realism / Portrait, Walk-ins Welcome | | 13 | [The Rook x Raven Tattoo Creative](https://www.localtattoos.com/tennessee/cordova/the-rook-x-raven-tattoo-creative.md) | Cordova | 4.7 | 252 | Geometric / Mandala, Black & Grey, Realism / Portrait | | 14 | [Inked Memphis](https://www.localtattoos.com/tennessee/memphis/inked-memphis.md) | Memphis | 4.7 | 303 | Aftercare Products, Walk-ins Welcome, Piercing Services | | 15 | [Lone Wolf Tattoo Nashville](https://www.localtattoos.com/tennessee/hermitage/lone-wolf-tattoo-nashville.md) | Hermitage | 4.6 | 314 | Realism / Portrait, Piercing Services, Cover-Up Tattoos | | 16 | [Big Daddy's Vicious Colors Tattoos & Piercings](https://www.localtattoos.com/tennessee/clarksville/big-daddy-s-vicious-colors-tattoos-piercings.md) | Clarksville | 4.5 | 216 | American Traditional, Piercing Services, Cover-Up Tattoos | | 17 | [Straight Edge Tattoo & Body](https://www.localtattoos.com/tennessee/murfreesboro/straight-edge-tattoo-body.md) | Murfreesboro | 4.5 | 404 | Piercing Services, Cover-Up Tattoos | ## Related - [Cover-up tattoo shops by state](https://www.localtattoos.com/best/cover-ups.md) - [Tattoo shops in Tennessee](https://www.localtattoos.com/tennessee.md) - [The best tattoo shops in Tennessee](https://www.localtattoos.com/tennessee/best-tattoo-shops.md) --- *Source: [LocalTattoos.com](https://www.localtattoos.com/best/cover-ups/tennessee/).
